Welcome to Self Mosaic. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What Self Mosaic Is (and Isn't)

Self Mosaic Is:

• A self-guided exploration tool based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles
• A companion for personal growth and self-understanding
• An educational resource about inner emotional systems
• A private journal for tracking your inner work

Self Mosaic Is Not:

• A licensed therapist or mental health provider
• A substitute for professional therapy or counseling
• A crisis intervention service
• A medical device or treatment for mental health conditions

2. Your Use of the Service

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Self Mosaic. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

Account Responsibility

If you create an account, you're responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Use automated systems to access the app
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

3. Health and Safety

• Go at your own pace. You can stop any practice at any time.
• Seek professional help if you experience severe distress, trauma responses, or crisis.
• Trust your inner system. If something feels wrong, honor that feeling.
• Consider professional support for deep trauma work.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free and Premium Features

Self Mosaic offers both free and premium subscription features. Free features provide core functionality; premium features unlock additional practices, insights, and capabilities.

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage subscriptions in your device's settings
• Refunds are handled according to Apple/Google's policies

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance and can cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content

Self Mosaic's content—including text, graphics, practices, and software—is protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of your journal entries, aspect descriptions, and other content you create. We don't claim rights to your personal work.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Self Mosaic is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
• We are not responsible for your mental health outcomes from using the app

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Termination

You may stop using Self Mosaic at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases, but provisions that should survive (like limitations of liability) will continue.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
